{F} Family

I had such a wonderful time, with an amazing family, playing at the park. There is something magical about being able to witness kids having fun and being free to enjoy themselves without a care in the world. It was also funny to see how contagious that pure joy and excitement could actually be. Even the parents were in on the action. This family just had fun together and I was able to tag along and capture some amazing moments.
It was a pleasure being able to chase Miss Addison and Miss McKayla around for the morning. We were able to celebrate milestones for both of the girls. Miss A is a big, smart 5 year old now and Miss M is an 18 month old full of life. Even though the wind was crazy, it did not slow either of them down!

Thank you for such a wonderful morning! Not only did I hit the jack pot on cuteness for a photo shoot, I didn't have to go to the gym later that day either. Cute kids, happy clients, and exercise all rolled into one. Sweet! ~Stefani

Puzzle Pieces

As a kid I use to love puzzles! It was so much fun finding all of the pieces and making them line up. My favorite part was when you found a large group of pieces, that were on one side of the table, that fit nicely into a gap that was left somewhere in the actual puzzle. It always helped to have the cover nearby as a guide. The picture to follow so that the end result was exactly what it needed to be.
It's funny how, now as an adult, life can still be seen as a puzzle. Unfortunately, I don't always have that perfect little picture that will tell me what it is all suppose to look like in the end. However, I still get excited when the pieces line up and things start to click together.
Case in point, pieces are coming into place with this business. I'm the proud owner of business cards, a business page on facebook, this blog, my first official printed portfolio, and a growing number of clients. (In case you wanted to check out my facebook page you can find it at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Stefani-Bullard-Photography/313432568708067?__adt=2&__att=iframe.) I am also in the process of starting my official website. So, the pieces are coming together. I have an idea of how the big picture will come together, but I know that it will most likely be better than I have ever imagined.
The pictures I picked for my first printed portfolio can be seen at the end of this post. Some I have posted before on my blog. Others have never been published. My portfolio is constantly evolving but I will treasure these for being the cornerstone to this puzzle. It is important to know where you started. However, it is even more important to keep your eyes forward in order to see and experience where you are headed.

Whirlwind!

Oh my! The last two months have been such a blur with all of the activity that was packed into every week. It is even exhausting just remembering all that was accomplished in such a short time. In case you were wondering what has happened since I last blogged it went something like this: sing at church (a couple times), help in my son's classroom (every Friday), Spring Break, my son's birthday and party, my birthday, sick kiddos (everyone is healthy again, thankfully), soccer season started, photography workshop, picture requests for newsletters, photoshoot, editing, Easter, and my 12th anniversary. Oh and the normally daily life thing happened too.

Picture for a Newsletter.
With so many exciting opportunities and adventures that happened in late February, and  all of March my camera definitely got a work out! Unfortunately, I have been a bit overwhelmed running from one activity to the next that I have neglected this blog. Yikes! I hope to do a lot better in the future.

The most recent photo session I had the privilege of being part of was held in the park! It was such an amazing atmosphere for such a fun and energetic family. Unfortunately, the weather was a little problematic. Thankfully the family was very flexible and we were able to work through the crazy wind. Once I finish editing their album I will post a sneak peek on this blog. I promise!

Prayer Before Opening Game
The other project that has been a ton of fun has been being Soccer Mom for my son's team! I have the honor of coordinating snacks, relaying information to the parents, help at practice, and of course be the team photographer. It has been amazing watching all the kiddos through the lense of my camera as I am capturing their energy and excitement during the game. I cannot wait to surprise the parents at the end of the season with a collage of action shots taken throughout the season.
