{J} Family Announcement

This past week I had the privilege of capturing some amazing moments as Patrick and Andrea set out to announce that they are expecting their first child. I had such wonderful time with this beautiful couple! The session was filled with love and laughter; two qualities I know that they bring to life no matter what the season. I am so blessed and honored to be part of this wondrous time in their lives.

Patrick was so enthusiastic to start his homework on all that they will need to know before this sweet baby is welcomed into the world. These two were a riot!

A New Dream

I could not find another quote as appropriate as the one captured by C.S. Lewis to shine some light on this new phase of my life. I am setting new goals and finally freeing myself to dream as big as I possibly want to dream. After years of hemming and hawing I have finally decided to start my own photography business. It has been a love of mine for years but I let doubt slip in and discourage me time after time. Well, not anymore! I guess there comes a point in your life where you decide you cannot hide behind "What If's" anymore and break out of the shadow that holds you captive. Here I am world! Standing in the sunlight and pursuing my dream.

I am so grateful to the support I have received from friends and family along this fresh path I am carving for myself. Thank you to those of you who have chosen to catch on to my vision from the start. I am especially thankful to my loving and supportive husband who has pushed me when necessary, lifted me up when I was down, and helps keep me sane every day. If we had only known in high school photography class what roads we would have travelled to finally decide on this destination.
